What I've been up to

Here goes a sum up of what has been going on for the past few months.

This year has been busy so far...
I have just graduated from a Multimedia Design Bachelor, and I'm still not sure about the next step.
But I'm absolutely sure I'll keep illustrating :)
Actually, I have been thinking for a while now, that I wanted to make a one-shot comic, or even a small Visual Novel game!

For the work update, here goes, from oldest to most recent (sort of)!

This one is what I'm currently working on

Lately I have been getting a little frustrated with my paintings, because I wanted to give them more colour and some abstract flares... but every time I make a line or a blob where "it's not supposed to exist", I correct it imediatelly to fit a more "realistic" situation =_=  Then again, that would make sense with my MBTI (I am an ISTJ, apparently).
That would explain why I love working with watercolor or doodle with a pen: even if there is a mistake, I can't correct it ^^

It saddens me a little that THU (Trojan Horse was a Unicorn) is moving to Malta.
The event is amazing, and I was considering paying a visit this year and meet the awesome professional artists and masters who go there. But now it's no longer in Portugal, so, personally, it makes things a bit more difficult. Someday, maybe...

Meanwhile, I'll keep practising and searching for oportunities which might be interesting!

This is random, but a few days ago I commissioned a henna tattoo on my hand, at an annual artisan's fair. The artist made a super detailed motif in 5 min, which, honestly, was surprising O . o
Also, I discovered that henna itches A LOT while it's drying... it certainly trains a person's self-control xD

Comic Con Portugal 2017

It's been such a long time since my last update here!!
Happy New Year everyone!

I didn't post here, but I went to Comic Con Portugal last year.
Here's a little report :)

This convention was in Porto, and lasted for 4 days. It was the third time I participated in the Artists' Alley.
This Comic Con was actually pretty calm compared to other years, when things were so hectic the artists could barely leave the tables to go eat. So, that's good, right?

This was my table and wall setup for the most of the convention. I mostly sold stickers (it was the first time I ever made stickers), and postcards. Jumin Han and 707 cards were flying out of the table... I wonder why... xD

On the last 2 days I cosplayed as 2B from Nier:Automata, and took some pictures with the awesome cosplayers that were around :3 Everyone was really kind and I had a lot of fun with them and the artists.
Two artists who were sharing a table, came to me and said "We must give you this, no matter what"

I was hysterical for some solid 5 minutes xD Thank you guys! Make sure to check their art at MikeStration

Since this year Comic Con Portugal will probably change places, and host the event in Lisbon, I still haven't decided if I'm going this year, too.

Happy New Year to everyone!
