Inktober- Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

 Here's my take on this year's Inktober! The OTP from Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun ^_^

 I thought it was a good idea to make me practice my inking, and a great opportunity to try out doing backgrounds (that's mostly what I've been studying this year). I'll definitely do ink drawings more often!

I also wanted to try out the Inktober, because I was deeply inspired by the work of Adachi Toka, the two women team that created Noragami. The manga is absolutely gorgeous not only because of the amazing story, but also for the masterful art!

Hello, everyone! \(^a^)/

I've decided to study some things I've wanted to for a long time, such as how to work with Autodesk Maya and SketchUp. I'm also going to seriously devote some time to studying drawing from ground zero... landscapes, anatomy, lightning and shading, EVERYTHING!

There's also this story I've been writing for the last 5 months to make a comic, and I want to finish it soon, so I can finally illustrate it.

This is to say that I won't be posting new artworks anytime soon TT_TT

Magic Circle

It's been a while since I last posted here! But (finally!) I've found the time to make this original piece.

Even though it might look completely digital, the characters were first sketched out and painted with markers. After various drafts, sketches and thumbnails, this composition was made (overal, the rendering took ~30 hours).

Bottled Balance- Dala

 I received this awesome box of Copic markers, and I just had to try them out >w<

This is Dala, a character for an original comic I'm currently working on, called Bottled Balance. I'll post the story summary when I finish writing it... really looking forward to illustrate it!

This year, I'll focus more on studying landscapes and scenery, rather than just posting fan art. I want to learn how to draw and paint a wider range of different objects so I can kickstart my own original artwork.
Also, I probably won't be able to post as regularly as usual, but the blog will definitely showcase better works!
